Position Title: Operations // Campus Services Tech
Reports to: Lead Supervisor
Status: Limited Part-time, Support Staff
Job Purpose and Goals:
We are seeking someone to be part of the Campus Services team to assist in providing a safe, clean, and distraction free environment for all who enter the doors of Lincoln Berean Church. A Campus Tech is responsible for the care and cleanliness of the facilities, grounds, and equipment of the church. To excel in this position, you must be trustworthy, able to get along with a variety of people, and a hard-worker.
We are looking for someone who loves Jesus more than anything, loves people, and has a heart for serving behind the scenes.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Cleaning
- Ensuring the cleanliness of various areas within the church premises, including routine tasks such as dusting, mopping, restrooms, etc.
Setup and Teardown
- Room setup for events, including setting up, moving, or tearing down tables, chairs, etc.
Organization and Inventory
- Restocking and organization of supplies as needed
Guest Services
- Being approachable and friendly to everyone who enters Lincoln Berean
- Willingness to lend a helping hand, whether it’s providing directions, answering questions, or assisting with any needs
Grounds
- Light yard work as needed, such as pulling weeds, mulching, laying ice melt, etc.
Competencies and Skills: To perform this job successfully, the following should be demonstrated:
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication
- Able to anticipate needs before they arise
- Ability to work as a team or individually
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
- Ability to push/lift 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, including mopping and vacuuming them
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require
- Ability to work in mildly uncomfortable temperatures
- Physical stamina to handle 5-7 hours of being active
