Focus: Local and Global Outreach
Reports to: Managing Director of Outreach
Anticipated Schedule: Part-Time - 29 hours / week

The position exists for the two-fold purpose of providing a high level of coordination of people and activities in support of the Outreach Ministries of Lincoln Berean Church and to extend the productivity of the team directors. This role requires exceptional planning, follow through, financial acumen, and communication coordination knowledge including the use of social media.

Daily / Weekly General Tasks
• Coordination of ministry programs, staff and volunteers
• Primary ownership of and coordination of the ministry /focus area group calendar and scheduling
• Accountable for budget tracking and producing monthly/quarterly reports for the Ministry Group manager and the Ministry Directional Team
• Project planning and project management
• Manage communication and information flow regarding ministry events, staffing needs, scheduling and registration to participants, their families and the Church and community as appropriate or required

Areas of Responsibility
The employee will execute details related to the areas listed below. Day to day responsibilities will vary widely. 

Primary: Outreach Coordination
• Develop and send Outreach Newsletter in conjunction with Communication and Partner Relations
• Implement social media posts across platforms in conjunction with Communication and Partner Relations
• Establish and maintain Missionary Care activities with the Global Outreach Director/Pastor
• Maintain a high level of responsiveness to Missionary Care Newsletters

Secondary: Outreach Administration
• Email, phone calls, correspondence
• Calendar management, schedule meetings
• Meeting/Event logistics, room reservations, setup, catering, agendas, meeting materials
• Travel logistics, coordinate logistics and support details for missionaries home in the US
• Database management of mission’s volunteers
• Printing, scanning, editing
• Expense receipt processing, credit card reconciliation, PO’s, expense account, check requests
• Attend meetings, take notes
• Respond to/facilitate Outreach emails that come in from congregants (i.e., furniture donations, inquiries on serving)

As Needed:
• Assist with large events and initiatives coordinating with the Global and Local Outreach Directors (Baby Bottle Drive, Gifts of Love, new initiatives, etc.)
• Coordinate McPhee Elementary Outreach Initiatives (Parent/Teacher conference meals, Teacher Appreciation, Events throughout the year – family photos, classroom parties, etc.)



Time Allocation:
40% - Ministry work (local global partnerships, events)
20% - Administration 20% - Communications (Social media, media production and organization)
10% - Meetings (Supervisor, ministry partners, volunteers)
5% - Sundays (meet congregants, run booth and recruit volunteers)
5% - Staff Development

Education, Skills and Background

• High School Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of two years professional office administration or management experience, preferably in a faith-based, public service or non-profit organization
• Highly Organized – a must for events, managing ministries, large amounts of information, and pretty much everything ministry related
• Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships and adapt messages in an audience-appropriate manner
• High level of discretion and emotional intelligence with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain the strictest confidentiality
• Ability to demonstrate high levels of tact and ownership in a dynamic, challenging setting
• Has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Has a humble and teachable demeanor born out of personal security in Christ and an understanding of his/her God-given ability
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams/Zoom, and Outlook
• A self-starter in forming systems of coordination
• A demonstrated capacity to anticipate needs before they arise
• Experience in social media, Instagram, Facebook
• Proficiency with budgets and financial software

Must make Lincoln Berean Church their home church and participate regularly in a Life Group
