Worship Arts Associate Director of Production
The Worship Arts Associate Director of Production works with the Production Team to oversee all aspects of live production at Lincoln Berean Church.

Job Purpose and Goals:
The Worship Arts Associate Director of Production works with the Production Team to oversee all aspects of live production at Lincoln Berean Church. This includes managing live production environments, programming and operating live production systems, volunteer management, scheduling, system maintenance, inventory management, and other team projects.
- 30% - Manage volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and training for the weekend experience
- 20% - Produce the weekend experience (whether that is directly or through a volunteer)
- 30% - Manage technical directors within Worship Arts
- 10% - Scheduling and execution of baptism services and other special services within Worship Arts
- 10% - Overseeing AVL update projects and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
Production
- Plan for and supervise installation of additional lighting, audio, video and recording equipment as needed
- Oversee stage design construction and installation
- Coordinate production assistance during worship services
- Ensure that all audio-visual equipment systems are properly functioning for all events
- Evaluate and update technical systems
- Research and purchase equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with appropriate leaders in carrying out the technical ministry of the church
- Collaborate in building and maintaining a strong team environment within Worship Arts Department and in completing the work necessary to fully serve and grow the Production Team
- Attend appropriate meetings as a resource and for informational purposes when requested
- Attend regular staff meetings and additional meetings when requested
Build, lead and manage a team to:
- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers
- Manage all employees in the Production Team
- Project manage and supervise production assistance for weddings, funerals and other events
- Train and develop the Technical Directors in operating lighting systems, broadcast systems, and audio systems and be qualified to step in and successfully operate any of the requisite systems
Leadership, Management and Accountability:
- To administer and manage the goals and objectives for the Production Team
- Forecast and manage budget for the Production area
- Oversee in the recruitment, hiring, and training of all paid Production staff
- Conduct yearly performance reviews for all paid Production staff
- Keep abreast of new technologies and industry trends and strategize how they will apply to ministry and mission
Collaboration:
- Collaborate/work closely with the Director of Worship Arts
- Partner and collaborate with Communications on stage design
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience working in a live production environment
- Technical Certification in live production (preferred)
- Working knowledge of key AVL production systems
- Excellent leadership and teambuilding ability, detail oriented, strong computer skills including familiarity and experience with a variety of software applications (MS Office Suite, Outlook, Teams)
