 Position Title: Coordinator of Campus Services and Security
Reports to: Campus Services Director
Status: Full-time, Support Staff (40 hours a week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Job Purpose and Goals:

• This position exists for the two-fold purpose of providing a high level of coordination of people and activities in support of the Campus Services and Security at Lincoln Berean Church and to extend the productivity of the team directors.  This role requires exceptional planning, follow through, financial acumen, and communication coordination knowledge.

 The five key roles for this ‘seat’ are:

• Coordination
• Communication
• Inventory and Budget Tracking
• Project Planning and Project Management
• Systems and Documentation

Key Roles and Responsibilities:


• Schedule Event Set Up Staff and Evening Security Guards

• Coordinate volunteer Kitchen Towel Team and volunteer Security Team

• Approval of Payroll and Timeclock

• Coordinate with LPD Executive Secretary for contracts with off-duty Police Officers


• Maintain relationships with current vendors and build new relationships with new vendors as needed

• Work with the Event Reservation and Evening Security Manager on processes and follow-through necessary for facility use

• Partner with Coordinator of Maintenance and Grounds to process operational requests

 Inventory and Budget Tracking

• Maintain inventory and reorder supplies for main custodial closets

• Track expenses and update the team on budget status as needed

 Project Planning and Project Management 

• Create work orders in eSPACE, which will require translation of ministry requests into actionable items for the teams

• Oversee the completion of the work orders

Systems and Documentation

• Create a system to track inventory in the kitchen (paper goods, utensils, condiments, etc.)

• Oversee a portion of onboarding for Campus Services hires and volunteer Security Team

• Create, update, and maintain training manuals, employee information, maps, equipment research, etc.

• Create and communicate a system around kitchen use for large events and day to day use 

Areas of Responsibility

The employee will execute details related to the areas listed below. Day to day responsibilities will vary widely. 

Secondary:  Campus Services Administrative Duties 

• Email, phone calls, correspondence

• Calendar management, schedule meetings

• Meeting/Event logistics, room reservations, setup, catering, agendas, meeting materials

• Organize details for team building activities 

• Printing, scanning, editing

• Expense receipt processing, credit card reconciliation, PO’s, expense account, check requests

• Attend meetings, take notes

As Needed:

• Research new products

• Stock first-aid

• Manage Campus Ops equipment and tools 

Time Allocation:

• 45% Campus Services

• 35% Security Team

• 15% Administrative Support

• 5% Other Support as Needed

Education, Skills and Background Necessary

• High School Degree

• Minimum of two years professional office administration or management experience, preferably in a faith-based, public service or non-profit organization

• Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships and adapt messages in an audience-appropriate manner

• High level of discretion and emotional intelligence with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain the strictest confidentiality

• Ability to demonstrate high levels of tact and ownership in a dynamic, challenging setting

• Has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.


• Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience with coordinating details of large in-person gatherings

• Proficiency with budgets and financial software

• Has a humble and teachable demeanor born out of personal security in Christ and an understanding of his/her God-given ability

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams/Zoom, and Outlook

• A self-starter in forming systems of coordination

• A demonstrated capacity to anticipate needs before they arise
